Marshall Morgan would drive in the game’s first run on a groundout that scored Ben Knake to put Lisbon up 1-0 in the first. Newman Catholic answered back in the home half of the first. Adams led off with a single and would eventually come around to score on Alex Weber’s sacrifice fly to right to even the score. The Knights scored another run in the second. John Waters knocked a single scoring Gabe Dunn, who doubled off the wall in left to begin the inning. Newman Catholic added two more in the fourth on a Casey Hall sacrifice fly scoring Adams and an error allowing Weber to score.
